The Bull Run Region has gotten some of their Sentimental Tour Pictures downloaded on their web site, a very good web site, I might add! Click on the link below;

Be careful now, as you might see ugly me in there somewhere!

You need to check back often as they are evidently in the process of downloading more. Why didn't you tell us guys? It'll be some time before all of mine are downloaded, work calls. Wayne

Thanks Wayne! Sorry about the lack-o-notice, but my old DF ID (bullrunwebguy) has been disabled/deactivated for some reason and I can't seem to get an assist from the administrators.

The Sentimental Tour sure was a blast and (as you noted) we've loaded a few of the pictures to the 'net (we took about 1,500 in total). Most of the ones on the website were taken via digicam, the rest were 35mm. I put together a Tour Photo Album (hardcopy photos) with those 35mm shots, and it is making the rounds of our Region. When I get it back, we'll scan & upload more to the website.

The 35mm shots were a tad more 'people-oriented' than the digipics, and lots of fun to look at. Will drop a line here when they start to trickle up to the site.

We might see you in Florida in 2006 ourselves, Mike. I never thought one little tour would cause me to possibly lose so much money in the coming years. This stuff is habit forming, so be careful if you ever attend your first one!

Mike: Keep some of the 35mm pics off of the website for the article in AA magazine. Don't want to duplicate I suppose. By the way, thanks for yours (Mike Jones - Virginia) and also to Franklin Gage on the 35mm for the wonderful work you did on the daily "Sentimental Star" newsletter and the pictures. I think I overlooked you both at the final Banquet.

Thanks Earl. We had a fun (and often funny) time taking the pictures, doing the 'Star' and getting the newsletters into the tour mailboxes prior to each morning's start. As for the 35mm shots -- will make sure that Pat gets first dibs on them before I start to scan & upload the rest. Put about 400 - 450 of the best ones in a photo album that is getting passed around Bull Run right now. Should have it back in our hands at Bull Run's Dec 4th holiday party.
