Guest Stllrng. Posted July 10, 2004 Share Posted July 10, 2004 I am planning to build a set of fenders for a pre-16 type car. The flat type with the raised beads and wired edges. I would like to know what gauge of steel would be the best to work with. I am thinking of using 20 gauge or perhaps 19 gauge. I think the 22 gauge would be too light. Let me know what you think.
