harry yarnell
Don't run a fuel pump without gas in the tank. Good way to burn up a pump.
Shelby
I hope you put in a Delco Fuel pump and Screen. The non-stock models are noisy and don't last very long. Any of them will only run "dry" for about 5 -15 minute.
Guest kennyw
was told by a guy who does a lot of replacement fuel pumps, fill your gas tank when it is 3/4 empty. A quater tank of gas keeps the pump cool and the gas lubracates the pump. He said you may mever need to replace a pump if you follow this advice. I have changed my fill ups...........k
