Well here in lakeland....i see them all the time. Usually at lease one a day, besides mine sitting outside rotting till i get it tagged, insured, and a new battery.

Well, first the pump went and we got that fixed. And seeing that it sat so long, ruined the battery, so now i gotta get a battery. But thanx again for all the help you people on this fourm have given me. Its weird, I knew nothing about this car, till i got it, then got onto this forum. and learn more and more lol.

Well its been bout a week or so, and we got the fuel pump in. But im just to lazy to run across the street and get gas to see if it will crank up or not. That pump sings like a champ lol. I am thinking about trading my mom cars later on down the road cause she wants that for my sister when she starts driving. But anywho g2g. Thanx for all the help.

I was just wondering if the timing being off would have anything to do with it not starting. If i let it sit for a day, then crank it up. It cranks, then shuts off. Then try and restarting it, and it wont do nothing but attempt to start.

Well i took it in a while ago cause it was overheating. Something to do with the computer and not makin the fans kick on. Well he also told me that my timing was off. Will that have any play in this at all?

i wish my sensor was 7.00. Mine was 24.00. But i figured out its not. We ran the codes and that came up. So we replaced it.

Well....we replaced the cam sensor...code went away..still not cranking. lol. So i should go with a GM fuel pump then? Thanks for all the help you people are giving me. I knew nothing about these cars...now im learning so much. Amazing what happens when u tear your car apart and look at it.

OK....well i finally figured out why my car is cranking up then dying. Its the cam sensor. Anyone know where to get one and how much, and also how hard to put it in. Thanks.

Like i said before, thanks for all of the input. But you know what....my brother got under there and started looking...and the fuel pump was disconnected lol. Thankfully we didnt but no parts or nothing.

Well last week i was going to my brothers house...and then all of a sudden, my reatta died. So i had it to towed. Well come to find out, the fuel pump went out. Well they wanted $300 for parts and labor. I called around and i found a pump for sale for $46.99 and a filter for $5.00. So me and my brother are goind to do it our selfs. Any ideas to make it as easy as possible?

Alright thanx for the comments. Hey padget..i live 45 mins from orlando. I also got into a wreck comin back from there sat. night from prom. They said if i would have been in my reatta....i would be dead. But i was in my grandmas explorer. They said i was real lucky. It could have been alot worst.

Well the other day, i was messing around in my reatta..and my review mirror fell off. What can i use to put back on there besides that glue kit, because i kno it sucks. So any suggestens?

Yesterday me and my brother tried fixing my massive exhaust leak, and we had to unhook my battery so we cold weld. Well that didnt work. But i hooked my battery back up and cranked the car up and then my ac was working cold again. Why is that?

Ok...i ran the codes on my car. These are the ones that showed up...E041 current and history, B477 current, b466 history, c331 history, c553 history. What do those mean and how can i find out if i need a oxygen senser, because on the screen, there was a bunch of stuff and oxy was one, and that little arrow was highlighted. What does that mean?

Well i tried that code thuingy.....and i cant get it to work. Am i doing something wrong? Someone please tell me how to do it again. The other day I was pulling out of my friends driveway and mine just stalled out. Also my check engine light came on and im getting that electric problem found or what ever it says. Any advice?

Its a 89. I have a binch of receits from whoever had it before has had work done to it. But i dont recall any about aprk plugs or wires or anything of that nature. so should i just take it to a mechanic and have them run it and see what comes up?

Well im back agagin. I have noticed about a week and half ago, my car does not like starting in the cold. And today its like 80 degrees out and still did not wanna start. Can someone tell me what it might be, if its the alt. or starter or battery. Please? And also i am seein more reatta around, seen a red one, dark blue with a sunroof ( made me jeolious ) and another one that looks just like mine. But respond so i know what to do please.

Well today i crawled my fat ass underneath and went to change the oil, and guess what i found. A sensor that is plugged into my oil pan that has been cut. Do i need to worry about that or not?

Ahh im not worried about going fast anymore. All it will do is get me into trouble. If i sell it, how much should i ask for it?

I am thinking about taking it to circuit city and have them instal a 6 disc cd changer, cause my friend has a system he is goin to sell me for $250. It has every thing except a speaker box. 2 12's ( 400 watts each ) a 8000 watt amp and all the wiring for it.

The interior is great condition, theres one lil tear on the driver side arm rest on the door, and the carpet is stained, but there are floor mats over it ( factory ones to ), and i need to vacum it out. The exterior looks good. Theres one long srape or something on the hood, but she will buff out as my brother says, and a few scuff marks on the front bumper. but other then that it looks good. its dirty, but i also havent had no tag or nuttin to drive it to get it wash.

So what you are saying is dont worry about making my car fast. I guess i probally shouldnt because im probally selling it anyways. My brakes work fine, but im still goin to take it down and have it put on the computer and see whats up with it, because my check engine light comes on too. so.....thanx.
