Guest Shaffer
Guess wagons are not too popular with Buick folks.
Bill Stoneberg
Tony,
Probably not, but form someone who Loves wagons & 4 doors, I appreciated the links.
Most people seem to like the coupes and convertibles, I dont know why. I like the bigger ones myself, I went and looked at a 47 Flower car this past weekend.
Thanks for the Links.
Guest
Hey Tony - I looked - and though that this was a pretty neat site.
Centurion
I also enjoyed the links. It is true that most people collect the coupes or convertibles, but I have a strong appreciation for the other body styles. These less commonly collected styles often stand out as really unique at the car shows.
Bill, would love to hear more about that 1947 flower car. Was it a Buick? Flxible body? The professional cars are fascinating.
Guest Shaffer
I know. It is a neat site. There is also a site there for just regular cars. I will add that link here as well.
[ 01-16-2002: Message edited by: Shaffer ]
Bill Stoneberg
Brian,
It was a 1947 Cadillac (Still GM) flower car that had sat for 35 years. The engine still turned by hand but the floors were rusted through. Must be the water in the flowers.
The body was by Flexible and would just need paint to make it beautiful again.
It was neat looking and I really would like it, but can only deal with 1 car at a time in restoration.
