Filobedo
OK Are the AC-Delco Wires at Auto Zone or Advance as good as GM?
padgett
AC-Delco is GM. Now if you were to ask if the AC-Delco wires in the store are as good as the ones that came on the car, that is a different question. Since AC-Delco seems willing to put their name on a number from different suppliers such as the Champ oil filters with a blue case and AC-Delco logo, only careful examination could tell if the same.Heck, even "exact repops" often are not. Gigged a '72 GTO at one show who could not understand why until I showed him that the original GM spark plug wires had embossed markings while his were just silkscreened. Same markings but a different method of application. And then there were the perfect repro PF-23 oil filters with the logo on upside down...
