Puka
Hello: looking for a source to make back-up light wiring on a '51. Rhode Island and Y n Z Parts needs me to send in the originals for them to make them -- just wondering if any other outfit out there has the patterns? This is a daily driver that I don't want to have down for a while while waiting to get wiring made. So, any sources you guys know of that already have the patterns for the back-up light wiring? Thanks.Puka
Bill Stoneberg
Puka,Are you looking for the wiring from the actual cans to the plugs in the trunk ??I never could find the rubber coating on the outside but I was able to replace the wire with a little soldering. Puka
Bill -- that's right. I'm looking for the wiring from the cans to the trunk. And by rubber, do you mean the grommets that insulate the wires from the body as they pass from the cans to the trunk? If so, yep, looking for those too, and cannot find them via Steele Rubber Products or other places, so far.Thanks.Puka
Guest scott mich bca # 6619
I've had success in dealing with "Harnesses Unlimited".I don't have the number handy, but they advertise in Old Cars Weekly, Hammings or the Bugle.Somebody had put aan alternator in my Buick before I bought it, and I wanted to bring it back to original. They made me the harness to the generator and to the regulator which was removed.Scott Mich BCA # 6619, OCA # 3947
