I just purchased a 1953 Buick Roadmaster (MINT) a few months back and now with Winter around the corner I want to prepare 'her' for 6 months of storage.
Any tips would be appreciated.
I'm getting one of those "car-bags" (www.carbags.com), jacking her up on blocks to get the weight off the tires - etc., removing the battery. Also putting a can of RID inside the car to combat moisture.
Open for any other tips on this subject.

I buy WD-40 by the gallon and use a spray bottle . Put the car on 4 jack stands and start at the front and go to the rear spraying EVERYTHING!!! My cars sit on a cement floor in an unheated building for 6 months and when I take them out in the spring they show no signs of rust. I NEVER start them after fogging them and have left one as long as 3 years without any visible damage. I also spray the chrome and the wheels ,as the wheel nuts have a tendency to show rust smile.gif" border="0
