padgett
Anyone know of or about Domestic Performance ? Apparently somewhere around Fresno California. They claim to have custom PROMs for just about any application (N/A or boosted, stick or auto) but seem a bit pricy.

Guest Greg Ross
Timon has really expanded his product listing since I dealt with him early in the Summer. At the time he was offering Ceramic Coating service, spoke with him several times but he couldn't actually pull it together! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
padgett
Well not quite. There are some minor difference between the "C" (88-90 Reatta) and the "L" (91-) series I engine and port spacing differences between the series I and series II To use most of the later stuff you need at least the series II heads which have significant differences from S I (see here - sounds like you really need a complete engine.Have never really looked into it beyond there is a passage from head to intake manifold that is different between the "C" and "L" engine. The easiest way is to bolt an entire "L" into an earlier car (what Greg did & why the s/c was a bolt in) but do not know what mods are required to "mix and match". Suspect the "L" head might be a bolt-on to a "C" but do not know. For that matter, you should be able to bolt a complete S-II engine intoa Reatta without much difficulty, but the electronics will undoubtedly need some mods - if going that far, a 4T65E "HD" trans would also be a good idea.Really wish I could play with this stuff but inderstand why Thrasher etc have gone to the SII stuff, that is where the money is.
