rocketraider
How many miles since you installed it? I've read that it takes a minimum of 50 miles driving to work the additive thru the clutches, and experience with a 1980 TransAM bears that out. That rear would start clicking and popping about every 40k miles. Put the GM additive in, drive it 50-100 miles and quiet again.
Sgt Art
Years ago I had trouble with a posi-traction rear end in my 69 Corvette. A mechanic recommended a gear lubricant for Posi rears that worked great. The company was called Frankland. I don't know if they're still around, but the product really quieted down all that popping and snapping.
Art161
I'm not following why this would be from the rear end. Presumably you are stopped when shifting between drive and reverse. An anti-spin rear end usually gets clunky when going around a corner slowly. That's when you need the special lube, and it can take 50 miles or so to work itself in. My guess would be u-joints or motor mounts.
