Just curious I hadn't heard where the 2004 OCA Nationals were going to be held and also the dates if known so I could mark my calendar.

Thanks!!!!! [color:"blue"]

Bloomington MN, August 25-28, 2004. www.mnoldsclub.org for info and hotel details. Hopefully they won't have the same hotel problems GCNK had.

Looking ahead, the 2005 show will be in Seattle (very fitting with the Space Needle and Rockets), and rumour is one of the Texas chapters will host 2006. Mid Atlantic is rumbling about doing another one in North Carolina and I understand there's some interest in hosting one in Nashville by Music City Rockets.

I had to dig thru a bunch of stuff I picked up at Nats to find the info. I didn't attend the Board meeting this year as there were still people on it who I refuse to deal with.

Thanks guys - I have marked my calendar. I was a member of AACA for a year or two but didn't get too much out of it. The magazine was nice but I guess that I was expecting something different. We have joined several clubs over the past 20 years and the clubs that we enjoy the most are OCA and a few others that we personally become involved with on a local basis. We do appreciate the interests and members in other clubs but it is hard to be "active" in more than a couple when you are raising kids and working full time. Kids are just about grown so it sure is a lot easier now to attend shows - particularly that we don't have to drag along the daughter who thinks cars are useful for driving from here to there, period. She does periodically show some interest in a "cool old car" so there is some promise, hopefully. But she will never have grease under her fingernails if she can help it.
