I have two 1955 Desoto Fireflite Coronado 4dr Sedans and may be interested in selling this one as I have only put 24 miles on it in over a year and spends most of its life sitting in indoor storage. There were less than 500 1955 Coronados made. 291 Fireflite 4bbl Hemi, Powerflite transmission. Would be a nice car for someone to make their number one and give it the attention it deserves. I’d give it a 7/10. Interior is very good, exterior is good, needs a buff, some light rust here and there, clear coat on roof is peeling. When I purchased it (2021?) the ad stated that it had a new correct color-coded wiring harness ($7000), transmission overhaul, etc. Brakes are a little soft, ad stated it had new brakes and power unit, but they have always been soft. I have a new aftermarket dual master cylinder that I never installed that is included (I did the conversion on my other one and it is great). Any questions please feel free to ask. $7,950 or best

[The 55er]

This very same 1955 Desoto Coronado (same color scheme, small crease in the lower left front fender, rectangular outside mirror and similar mileage) was linked to these forums back in Feb. 2021 as a SOLD Ebay listing with a high bid of $6459.50 in Easton, PA. It looks like some rust repairs and paint touch-up to the lower quarters were done since it was last sold.
