1971 Buick Riviera, 47,805 miles, 455V8 with 4V carb. All original equipment with the exception of a nice performance dual exhaust system. This Buick was purchased in 1981 in California from Buick Dealer by the current second owner. The current owner had the car color changed in 1981 from the original white to the current black finish. Original factory Mag wheels with new white wall tires. This car is unrestored and runs smoothly but not currently on the road. Car has had regular maintenance.
The car was brought back to New Hampshire and used as a summer car. Always garage kept and maintained. The car has a rust-free under carriage and a straight, rust-free body. No accidents, no damage.
Known needs for repair are: This Buick has a split in the rear seat seam cloth upholstery that needs repair. The dash and all other upholstery is good, electrical in good shape. Needs the two doors and trunk weather stripping replaced due to the age of the car. Note there are online companies providing complete custom weather-stripping kits specifically for the 1971 Riviera at reasonable prices. The car is a rare example of the boat tail Riviera in a decent shape a collectible for the right enthusiast.
