Mark Shaw Posted June 9 Share Posted June 9 Before you rebuild the carburetor, check the heat riser tube inside the casting just above the carburetor. I am not sure if the Marquette has this pre-heat system, but if it does you must make sure the tube inside has no holes to let exhaust enter the air/fuel mixture.
