Tanner0042
My wife and I inherited a 1972 Buick Sklyark Sun Chaser. We need to get some parts for it. Right now we are looking for the weather seal for the window/doors. I believe it is called roof rail seal or belt line weatherstrip. We think it is the same part for a standard Skylark, but are not 100% sure and as a general rule, cannot ever find parts specific for this low production model. Does anybody know if are guess is correct? Edited May 13 by Tanner0042 more clear title (see edit history)
BUICK RACER
Welcome, typically called a Sun Coupe by Buick, roof rail weatherstipping would be the same for a coupe. Check out https://www.stage1restoration.com/product-category/weather_stripping/
EmTee
Welcome to the forum! Nice Sun Coupe - I like these as they are unusual and really stand out in a sea of GSs and Skylarlks. There's someone in my area with a yellow one that i had a chance to look at last summer. I'm sure everyone here would love to see more pictures of your car!
