StillOutThere
An Essex "kit car" and I can assure you the marque club has virtually NO help for these great 4 cylinder cars. '18 -19 was the first year of the Essex and the long stroke 4 cyl continued into 1923. If the HET Club had paid attention, these cars would have been saved, restored, collected and been honored in early vintage collections and museums. There is more respect for the E-4 outside the US, especially in Australia and New Zealand in the 21st century, than there ever was in the USA. How unfortunate. And I write as a former owner of a '22 Essex coach, America's first low cost fully enclosed car.
