Sennsible
I recently purchased a 1916 Chevrolet 490 prototype Roadster. The engine block is cracked. I interested in purchasing a replacement engine for this very rare car, an engine block if a complete engine is not available.
ABear
Maybe post some pictures of the engine block and where it is cracked. Pictures may help folks identify the block. As a "prototype" vehicle it may be possible they repurposed an already made engine or if that engine is a complete "one off" only designed and built for that prototype. Depending on where the crack is it may be possible to have it stitch welded (aka metalocking). TerryB
Your thread title is misleading, you say 490 engine for sale. You are not selling an engine so how about Wanted-Engine for 1916 Chevrolet Model 490.
