... and for 100+ years since (and counting), millions upon millions of cars around the globe have filled (and continue to fill) fields, forests, landfills, junkyards, sinkholes, etc and let's not forget hungry mouths of crushing machinery for same reason, i.e. not worth repairing, be they $5 or inflation adjusted $50, $500+ cars.
