Fred C Post
So l’m installing the rear quarter window.Car’s been apart since forever. I think l’ll need the new outside fuzzy secured first for clearance . Does it attach to the stainless trim ? I’m thinking l could join them together with 3M weatherstrip adhesive and number four flathead screws. Does this sound like a good way to go about it ? I know they were stapled from the factory. The staple remains were still there on the stainless trim. But how was the stainless attached to the car ? Must have been with screws. So my screws will connect the fuzzy to the stainless and the stainless to the car body . Not factory probably, but it should work . What do you think ? gungeey
Don't need adhesive. The from the factory the sheet metal screws (3?) went thru the A:fuzzies then B:stainless then C:steel. The heads are embedded in the fuzzies
