I have taken apart the dash to repaint and refresh everything. part of that was to disconnect the e brake assembly. Problem I have is, it will not roll freely now. Rusty_OToole Posted September 9, 2023 Share Posted September 9, 2023 Your car has a hand brake on the back of the transmission, completely separate from the service brake. It should not lock up unless you pull on the E brake cable, hard. Are you sure it is not in park or in gear? If not, you may have to jack the car up and inspect the brake underneath to see what is jamming it on. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
