Guest imported_Havron The Great Posted May 9, 2003 Share Posted May 9, 2003 I have what probaly is the typical dash problem. it Blinks out and then say ERROR at its own will.(kinda depending on the weather...) I can sometimes get it go come back by pressing on it, or tapping it. I re-soddered most all the joins thinking they would be "clold sodder joints" with no luck. Jim Posted May 9, 2003 Share Posted May 9, 2003 If trying to resolder the joints and cleaning the contacts doesn't work you may have to replace the IPC. Replacement of the dash cluster from a donor (Riviera, usually) has cured the problem.
