Gary_Ash Posted June 5, 2023 Share Posted June 5, 2023 You will need to figure out which rear axle is in your car. The SP type has the carrier integral with the housing. The MC type has the carrier bolted to the housing - these were only used on Canadian built cars. What is your car serial number and engine serial number to verify axle type. The part number for SP axles is 510726, left and right. The part number for MC axles is 510965, also left and right. I don't see those part numbers listed for anything but Rockne 30 and 31 models in my 1928-40 parts book for 6 cylinder cars, also not listed for any 8 cylinder cars of that period.
