  1. If I can rememberin a few months when I can pull my 35 dictator sedan out of the trailer, I will compare with my 34 Coupe and let you know. 😉
  2. Send me a picture and or part number of what you are after and the next time I visit with Andy Hook in a month or so I will ask if he has one. Likely will. I did ask him about the rear tire mount but he didn't have any.
  3. I have 2 spare fender lights for sale that I can bring to Hershey if anyone is interested. $175 US Rough but salvageable. Good lenses. I included lots of pictures from all angles. I'll likely bring them to Hershey regardless. I believe they are correct for 31 or 32 as well. PM me if interested
  4. Looks great! I still think the Squirrel Car has a step up on you for originality put that's my personal opinion!
  5. Let me check my parts. I have a few axles and want to make sure I've got the right one for you.
  6. I was told that the hollow backed ones are for Dictators and the solid backed are Commander and President. Not sure how true this is. All my 34 dictator ones are hollow.
  7. I second your opinion Dave. Great to deal with. Reasonable prices. Made me a happy man finding the parts I did. 😁
  8. Would it not be in the same spot as the Stude? Drivers side frame rail seen inside the front fender.
  9. I was curious if it was a spare tire decorative cap?
  10. Wish you could be there too Chris. Its a long haul from Cali.
  11. I used a modern rubber lip seal on mine. Can't recall the PN atthe moment but I have it recorded and will post when I do. I have found that all the seals that I've replace with modern ones have had the closest matches using metric seals.
  12. I haven't gotten mine yet. I was wondering when it should be coming
  13. That's George. I may have to take you up on this. I now know that my filler neck was cut off. I'll let you know shortly if you need to bring it. Do you have the cap for it too? I'll see you in Hershey regardless. No Hannah this time though. 😔
  14. Pretty sure I need one for my 34 but I have no idea what it looks like. Its completely missing.
  15. Good call Robert. I looked through a thousand pictures trying to identify it. Now I know. Now that I know what its from, if there is anyone interested message me. We can talk price and delivery. I'll be in Dunkirk this weekend and Hershey in October. Thanks again Robert!
  16. A friend has asked me to find a good home for this fuel gauge. He was told it was for a 37 Coupe Express but it doesn't look anything like the 37s I've seen. The closest I've been able to match it with is some 32 model year Studes but all of them had a black background. Any opinions from the wise individuals here? Derek
  17. They have King Pin Bearings. Studebakerparts.com BRB036F KING PIN BEARING The King Pin should be easy to have made. Derek
  18. I was pretty sure they were the same as my 34 Dictator as Starlightcoupe's picture shows. I think I have a spare set of NOS however they are my spare set. LOL I can take some measurements from them if I do have them and send them to you to have made. For some reason though, I thought Studebaker PArts.com had them. I'll look and post back here if I find them.
  19. I laughed when I read this because it brought back memories of a meet in the early 80's they had to call in the National Gaurd to pull people out of the mud! LOL
  20. I read in another post that you used a Volvo thermostat? Do you recall which one you used? A part number? Is it a thermostat that mounts under the tube on the cylinder head? I have a 34 Dictator and it is the same engine as yours. I don't believe the car originally came with a thermostat but it makes sense to use one. Your car looks great! Thanks. Derek
  21. Restoration is all a big learning curve, isn't it Herman. One thing I learned about most early cars is they did not have special torques for bolts. They used the standard torque table for all critical bolts. Derek
