BuickTom87 Posted June 4, 2023 Share Posted June 4, 2023 I have a quick question, since it’s about 4 months away til Hershey . I’m wanting to bring my 29 Buick to a national event . I have a a few Phillips screws visible . The car is beautiful and restored to basically the way it left the show room floor . Will I loose Points for Phillips screw since they were invented yet. MCHinson Posted June 4, 2023 Share Posted June 4, 2023 Yes, I would encourage you to replace the incorrect screws with correct screws. There are a number of restoration supply companies who can help you with that, but I would also suggest you check out your local hardware store. When I restored a 1938 Buick, I found quite a few correct screws at my local Ace Hardware store.
