Barney Eaton
There is a white 1990 convertible on ebay (#2412667322)VIN 1G4EC33C4LB905091I am not picking on this car but see how many things you can find wrong with it.All pictures show the antenna up...my guess it is brokenHeadlight button has big wear mark.chrome trim around IP is worn off in places.Trunk lock is shiny chrome instead of blackRight front hub cap is frosted (bad clear coat)Under the hood, the panel in front of the windshield is missing the black thumb screws. There is not a clear picture but one view looks like the back bottom of the drivers seat is worn badly on the door side. FlyByNite
Fourth pic down makes it look as if the top is not fitted very well, no carpeting on the panel over the spare tire in the trunk.
Shelby
Tail light neds to be polished and may have crack. The alternator looks pretty bad. The overflow bottle not at proper level and very dirty. Fog lamps cloudy Black "tape" missing on shifter.Ignition wires improperly routed. I discovered an intresting way of telling "highway miles" vs. "city miles"When you close the door the metal seat belt end scratches the paint a little on the door. My red coupe with 130,000 mile have a pretty big wear spot on the driver side. I make a lot of short trips. Just one of those thing you spot will washing the car. reattadudes
now I look at the photos and see things totally differently...if you look at the instrument panel pictures, the key is obviously in the "on" or "run" position, and the radio is ON. a good reason for the antenna to be up, don't you think? I'd be worried if the antenna wasn't up!of the 37+ Reattas we have, I have never seen a black lock cover. every one has the black finish wearing off, even cars with 30,000+ miles.I've also learned to never trust the quality of any digital pictures...if you check out the driftwood '90 coupe a little further on ebay, the driver's seat bottom looks like it has no pleats (or its made of mud), but I'm sure its just a bad picture.it comes down to the glass being half full, or half empty, don't you think? <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />looks like a very nice car at a good price to me!
