plymouthcranbrook Posted May 12, 2023 Share Posted May 12, 2023 Having spent time in the 70’s driving a Checker as a delivery vehicle I can say that they are an acquired taste. Driving position is made for short legged people to make more backseat foot space. I drove ones with the Chevy V-8’s so power was not a problem. Ride was ok and load carrying capacity was terrific. Pont 46 Posted May 12, 2023 Share Posted May 12, 2023 I drove this cab for a while in the 70's 6 cylinder, car ran like a top, wouldnt die, smaller front end which gave it a better turning radius, nice room in the back, just all out fun car.
