meskhov Posted May 4, 2023 Share Posted May 4, 2023 Anyone know of a replacement float for the Stromberg MV-1B carburetor used on my 1924 Star? My original is cork but all deteriorated. Didn't know if there is a company that can make new ones from Nitrophyl material? Also, could use a new needle valve and seat at this is constantly leaking. carbking Posted May 4, 2023 Share Posted May 4, 2023 While there might be something somewhere; I am unaware of any off-the-shelf parts for this carburetor. Custom parts for the early tillotson carbs are EXPENSIVE! I always have thought Marvel deliberately used weird sizes and very little interchangability to cut down on others making parts for their carburetors.
