bfrance
I’m looking for help on where to install the Campbell tags on my restored Woodie wagon. Thanks for your help. Bob
46 woodie
It would help if you let us know what the year and make of the car you are restoring.
bfrance
Sorry for that- it’s a 1941 Chevrolet Woodie Wagon.
46 woodie
I made several phone calls to my Woodie bud's but they are all Ford guy's and no one knows where the tag goes. I see that you are a member of the NWC. If you have a copy of the NWC Membership Directory, there are about eight or ten 1941 Chevy owners listed along with their contact information. PhilWood54
It's interesting that you have a pair with the same number. Most times the Campbell tag was placed on the rear window header (above the rear tailgate window) facing in towards the front of the car. One would see it while looking in the rear view mirror. Other Campbell locations were on the front door hinge stile (vertical piece with the hinges) usually on the passenger side. BTW-I have a set of two matching number Campbell tags as well, bought them from another car guy. My 1946 Ford 1-Ton had the rear header replaced at one time, so mine was missing.
