lancemb
Going by memory here, if you remove the knob there is a little nut underneath that screws into the switch. Once you remove that it will fall off. You'll need a tiny allen wrench to loosen a set screw at the base of the knob.
Frank Falconeri
I will try to find an alan key that fits the tiny hole in the knob, I looked at it but looks like threading and no screw. I assume the light switch knob pulls out by releasing a locking button on the light switch from what I can see on the manual, I guess the chrome bezels should easily come off once knobs are removed and you said a locking nut removed. Thanks for the advice Lancemb

Thanks for the advice Lancemb Yes the headlight switch has a button on it to remove knob. Then a small nut holds switch to dash and also secures bezel. There is ndeed a tiny set screw in the other knob; otherwise it would slip right off.
