thehandleman
Hello Guys, This Door I have had since my Dad's Passing 2012, I have no idea how long and how the heck he ever had one door only ?, but it is in Super shape, No Rust out, still has felt trim around it. Paint is pretty solid also for years in his basement and now 10 Years in my barn. I would really like to ID it and try and bring to Hershey and pass it on to someone who can use it and is re-doing his car. at some point I wrote on a tag 1928 Chrysler "72" series ???? have no idea. So I took some Photo's and will list measurements below to try and get to the bottom of this mystery. As usual Thanks to all you guys who are masters of the knowledge. Top to Bottom Approx. 44 3/4" Width small section Bottom across is Approx. 19" Center of window area outside frame to outside frame is Approx. 26 7/16" Inside window metal garnish, part of door, across 21 1/8" vertical 15 1/2" 3 Hinges Top of hinge to bottom of hinge is Approx. 28 3/4" Hope this helps, from looks of Handle escutcheon design and holes, and square windows I am thinking 1925-1928 Just my humble guess. keiser31
It certainly matches the 1928 Chryslers I see online.
thehandleman
Hell John! Maybe it is a 1928 Chrysler I found one that looks darn close if not it. Thanks
