Time to get busy and rebuild a seat

The material has arrived from SMS and my local supplier,going to redo the complete cushion and just the main insert on the backrest.

Plans are to install the cloth seat and remove the covers from the original seat,rebuild the original covers then install the covers on the cloth seat frame.  The original frame has broken springs and all the springs in the other frame seem to be good.

I had to buy a little over three yards of the light blue to just make the bead in one piece so I will redo the whole cushion,no sense in getting all that material and only use very little.

I was planning on only replacing the bad section on the backrest but might end up doing the whole thing if it does not survive coming apart,. Need to see if the material on the back of the backrest is still available as it's different then the rest of the vinyl and just to replace the dark blue strip I will have to order a yard and a half just for it and have a bunch left over.

If it would warm up some I could get the seats switched and the original covers off,I have to do the seat switch outside.

Putting the new covers out in the sun to heat up really helps with getting them flexible enough to work them onto the seat frame properly.
