Model 72 roadster floor boards

Recommended Posts

I have a good pattern for the front floorboard that goes around the steering and pedals. The parts book lists a single board for the rear board, the one with the shifter/handbrake and the battery cut out. The book also lists a lock assembly and key. Does anyone have pictures info on that setup?

Here are some pictures. The first one is the lock area I believe. What is the lock like?

In the second picture what is the cutout shape towards the front, around the shifter/handbrake?

In the third, is this correct construction?

Any floorboard help appreciated.

I have a photo of what I believe the floor should look like taken from another car like ours.  Probably not of the authentic design but with everything where it needs to go.  If you go to the posts made by Harry J you will find other photos of his work on redoing the floorboards in his sedan.  That hole you have in the middle of your cross member is not a lock it is for an exhaust cutout control, mine is mounted on a small rectangular bracket.  Just an after thought, what is this lock you talked about?
