Recommended Posts

Seems like a very nice example, any thoughts on this price? (more pics in ad)

Runs perfectly. Has been on many tours with horseless carriage club, model T club and others. Starts and runs every time. Very reliable. The star of any show. 2 cylinder boxster engine.
Maxwell was the 3rd best selling car in 1910! Very popular among collectors. This exact model was the car that started Harrah's collection. Moving and reducing our collection. This is an easy to start (hand crank) and drive car. Perfect for tooling around town, going to wineries or showing. Can literally drive it anywhere (except highways).

A "boxster engine"??

Well, yes, Maxwell did offer a water cooled opposed twin. Hence the "inverted T" shape of the hood - the cylinders are apparently located between the frame rails.

Oh, you may be referring to the spelling... didn't think about it ) it's obviously a "boxer" engine, not a umm... "boxster".
