Improved 1931 Model A Deluxe Roadster - $27K

This is "all the money" for one of these. It's got a lot of expensive improvements...maybe that justifies the price?

This is a 1931 Ford model A Deluxe Roadster in excellent condition, both mechanically and appearance-wise. All steel, no rust. Nice paint and excellent bright work. It is an older but low-mileage (about 2500 miles) frame-up restoration that has just been refreshed to be like new. Here is a list of what has been recently accomplished:

"Randy Gross" Ford F100 conversion rebuilt steering gear to reduce steering effort
recent USA Firestone tires and NAPA battery
new motor mounts
New hoses with stainless steel tubing
New water pump
New ignition keys/lock and wiring
New gas gauge
distributor rebuilt
carburetor rebuilt
new 6v alternator
new ammeter
Seat belts
Logo Lites turn signal kit
This car has low mileage since the original frame-up restoration so mechanical wear is minimal overall. Drive train, brakes, steering all have very little wear.

In 2021 the following was done to the engine:
Pulled model B diamond factory replacement block (highly desirable) March 23 1939 casting date (pressurized main bearings and hardened valve seats, counter-weighted crankshaft for less vibration)
(all bearings and camshaft gear look like new)
New gaskets, seals
new cam thrust plunger/spring, new front pulley/shaft with modern neoprene seal
cylinder compression checked and in spec
New throwout and pilot bearings, adjust clutch fingers (clutch still like new)
Adjust valve lash to model B engine specs
(B engine/cam specs more exhaust valve clearance than A)
new aftermarket transmission oil seal kit
new aftermarket ball-type gas shutoff valve
new aftermarket seal kit for U joint housing
new tubular front shock kit

Nope, it doesn't.  A Model A is still a Model A.  Plenty of superior cars in the market for high 20's IMO.    Mid to high teens car IMO.  That top is a little shabby looking, too.
