Lever shock absorber capacity

Anybody know the approximate capacity for a front lever shock for 1940 Roadmaster. I can't seem to find a spec. I suspect about 5 oz.?

I've never seen a capacity noted.  You may have already seen the manuals that instruct you to fill, cycle, check and fill as needed.

If you find the right mill spec,  you can get about a gallon of hyd oil for under twenty bucks.  A lot of people use motorcycle shock oil and I also asked Apple Hydraulics what they use, and they told me a mill spec.   So I went to the local tractor or equipment store and bought all I’ll ever need in a gallon bottle .  So the capacity of your shock becomes a moot point.  No need to buy a quart from somewhere for three times the money.
