1940 Lincoln Zephyr sedan; 29,000 miles

Now that I have this car back up in really good running condition, I'm ready to sell it. It's a really great low-mileage car that had a show-quality paint job done on it, along with show-quality chrome. The interior is completely original, and is beautiful. Brian Joseph at Classic & Exotic in Detroit area (known for Pebble Beach quality show cars) did the work.

Just finished diagnosing and fixing a few wiring problems, which included installing a Skip Haney-rebuilt coil, new distributor plates, new condensers. Beautiful driving car.

Columbia two-speed rear end works beautifully as well. Starts literally in a tenth of a second. Barely touch the starter button and it is up and ready to go.

Modifications:

air-conditioning (two six-volt batteries in series, with only the air running on both, and an alternator); original generator on shelf

power brakes

floor shifter

1941 turn signals

postwar steering wheel

A perfect car for touring. Glidden Tour veteran. Drives like a low-mileage car. You won't be disappointed.

I'm asking $29,000. Come take a look and make an offer.
