Just out of an estate and parked for 22 years, this sweet Buick Special has been in the same family since 1942. It shows 45333 miles and the executor believes correct although it has been registered as an antique vehicle since 1972 and cannot be verified. It has a straight 8 and three on the tree. Not yet started but motor turns freely by hand with the plugs out. The body is in good shape especially underneath and the fenders. Some small rust spots starting but easy fix. Chrome and grille are nice.

This could be a great deal.40 series sedans don't bring a lot of money and this one is priced with that in mind. Just gotta wonder what is under those seat covers! Are they protecting the original upholstery that is in good shape? Or are the seat covers hiding a ripped and torn upholstery. Pictures of the engine, undercarriage and a few more of the interior would give a buyer a little more info before calling on the car.

From the age of the seat covers I would bet the original seats are there and in good condition.
