Marty Roth
I have a spare trunk, 36" x 18" footprint Identical to the one on my Packard, Packard Motor Car Company riveted metal tag at lower front left - with the "K" symbol in the diamond emblem inside the front "drop-down" panel All corners and latches are present and NOT dented, but the left-hand latch, while open, is locked, and I don't have the universal-type key to open it. What may look like a dent in the shiny corner is actually just a spot wiped clean but not yet polished. Decent enough to use on a driver-quality car. Is this trunk worth $375 ? If not, and you can use it, make me a reasonable offer and I'll bring it to Hershey. I also have another trunk - 33-1/2" x 20-1/4" footprint Top front curved corner lifts and face drops down. Decent enough to use on a driver-quality car. I could dig it out and get pics if this odd size is what you need. Is it worth $400 ? If not, make me a reasonable offer to justify bringing it to Hershey.
Sharon T
Hi Marty thank you so much for sending over the details. we really are looking for a show quality trunk as the car has been beautifully restored. If you know of anywhere they are being made or any for sale of that quality, I’d love to know where. We are based in Australia and there is nothing over here. kind regards Sharon

One option might be to take one of ours, or another in solid condition, and have ir restored to the condition of your exceptional Packard, or to use one such as mine, but have a very nice canvas cover fabricated to both protect the trunk and to enhance the appearance, while still having the function. Best of luck, Marty in New Orleans
