This area wasn't settled (some farms but no real roads, just the railway) until the mid 1920's into the 30's which makes this collection a little more interesting in that the early cars were definitely not local pieces.   I suspect from the early bidding that these cars are all known in some circles.

I did a little digging - pardon the pun - on him and he was a drainage contractor.  The Earlton Steam Show is now name after him.  I'm sure there must be more to the story.  I've been travelling up to that area for the last 10-12 years and had no idea the collection was there.
