Packardfan84
Hello, just checking to see if I am supposed to rinse the etch out with water afterwards orrrr? I know this may be a stupid question but the back of three etch bottle doesnt say rinse it just says drain . How could that be what if there are rust particles. ".. .finest solution for removing rust from your metal fuel tank...." I have done all of the previous steps other than boiling, just flash rush now. Already did the evaporust with tons of bolts etc then I did degreaser and dried 100% now im in the process of doing etch.
Frank DuVal
My guess is to drain it only and let it dry. That is what the direction say. You have already taken care of the real rust problem.
Packardfan84
Thanks Frank, ya that is what I did. Im sure they would have put that step on the directions. That would be a pretty big thing to leave out.
61polara
Don't flush it out. That's what seals the tank. You drain it to prevent pooling of the sealer.
