Ed Nieves
Can a car that is "original" and has received a First or a Senior Grand National Award, also enter the car for a Historical Preservation Award at a National meet? According to what I'm reading in the guidelines, I think so, but want to make sure I'm understanding it correctly. This is what the guidelines cite: "No previous National First Prize winners are accepted unless they are original and have been maintained to preserve their originality." Steve Moskowitz
Ed, you have the option of switching but all awards have to be retired (badges come off car) and once you make the change you cannot change back. So, if you opt to retire your awards and go to HPOF then that is where you will stay for 10 years. See page 4-31 of the guidelines
