lacougar
Hello All! This is my first post in CCCA. I'm currently working on my first restoration job and have been on YouTube a ton. I've tried anything from white vinegar to CLR (works way better). But I'm turning to the pros at this particular time hoping your guidance will help speed up my work. Does anyone have tips the fastest way to remove rust off the roof of the Cougar? I also included a few images to show the my progress thus far. Thanks in advance! Walt G
The CCCA is for luxury cars of the 1915 to 1948 era. SO you perhaps need to move this to an area that would be seen by people who have cars of the same era .
8E45E
Sandblasting it to a 'white metal' state is the best way to remove rust from steel on any car, classic or special interest. It leaves the good metal in a primer-ready state, while removing and neutralizing the rust. Craig
