drdon
I am replacing the king pins on my 37 Coupe on Thursday. When removing the old kingpins do you drive them up from the bottom or down from the top?? I’ve seen different models of cars going different directions so does anyone know the correct direction for the 37 Studebaker 6A Frame not 5A. drdon
My front end guy did the work yesterday. He drove it up from the bottom but said he thought top down would have worked as well.
Albtrossca
Good to hear. Mine took alot of convincing to come out. Not sure if from rust or just a tight fit.
drdon
He said no problem with removal on either side. Bonus? The brake shoe retaining spring on left wheel was fractured in wound part and useless. It was NOS 6-8 years ago. Hmmm
