Possible distributor cap?

still have a few more things that need indentification from

the car parts tote. this piece looks like it could be a 4cyl distributor cap?  only thing i can read on it is PAT 1912. anyone reconize what its is and what particular vehicle used it? Yes, the dimple used by the tension strap to hold it in position and the lever to adjust the timing seem to be correct for a "T". No doubt it is one of hundreds of "improved" aftermarket timers made for the millions of "T"s that were once chugging along on 2-4 cylinders!
