VW4X4
I have a Pontiac flathead six, W/transmission for sale. I believe this is a 1948 model. It has several accessories that go with it. Its been out in the weather for some time. It needs a good home. I've rebuilt a ton of engines over the years, and these engines (at this price) can be a life saver, if you find yourself looking for a small missing parts, a connecting rod, crank, or what not.... john hess
I'm in eastern pa... what does output shaft look like.... is transmission loose.... interested in flywheel back .. do you go to carlisle or hershey ?
VW4X4
Well, the transmission is still connected to the motor. IF you look at the pictures I've posted, that's about all I can tell you, until tomorrow. I can stop by the farm and take some better picture. Can you see the output shaft without removing any thing?? IF so, I can get more pictures tomorrow. I use to go to Hershey, and carlisle but the costs today, did justify the trip. john hess
output shaft is where driveshaft slipjoint goes in .. just out of view in your picture... my interest is condition of splines...also inside gears... removing 5 bolt top plate would confirm condition. (oil water rust) ... how much $$ ..
john hess
I would be interested in flywheel clutch bell housing and transmission... I would take all if easier...
