Beauty for sure but if it has sat we all know the drill just from brakes, to carb, to fuel pump getting it going.  This car has been on the list above an Imperial but below a New Yorker.  Am I the only one who likes pictures like this because of the garage detective work you get to do ?

Hopefully it was sold. Brooklyn Beer, the 1956 DeSoto was one of the prettiest American cars of the fifties, but those have to be the most unflattering photos I've ever seen. It's hard to get a sense of how graceful the lines of it are...it just looks awkward in those pics. You're probably right about them being revealing, though. The reason I like bad photos is they keep other prospective buyers away, making the seller more willing to go down on the price.

A photo like this would give buyers a better idea of how nice these cars actually look. It isn't a great quality photo, either, but it shows off the great proportions.
