37 Buick Special
Several years back I acquired a 37 Buick Special that had had partial restoration. One thing that wasn't done was the wood graining on the dash and trim. Some areas look good (always the sun) and some are some what dull. Short of pulling the dash does anyone know of a way to brighten up the wood graining. I have a friend with a 39 Olds and he applied (with a brush) a clear coat of some sort of water based varnish. He said it came out nice but I have not seen it up close and personal yet. Sometimes things are left better alone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. EmTee
You can try a spray clear coat. Nothing ventured, nothing gained...
