RTW Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 I was driving and the accelerator pedal went to the floor and the car lost power. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

RTW Posted August 16, 2021 Author Posted August 16, 2021 Hemi, This is a 16valve. Do you know where I can get a cable?

Nile Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 It may not be the cable. The final connection to the throttle is a solid rod with a ball stud on each end. One time during an autocross this rod popped off when I hammered the throttle after coming out of a turn. I popped it back on which takes all of maybe 3 seconds and in true "Roadkill" fashion put a zip tie around the rod and a parallel bracket. It's been seven years with a lot of spirited driving and no problems.
RTW Posted August 18, 2021 Author Posted August 18, 2021 Thanks. I'll take it to a mechanic on tomorrow. I hope I can get parts if needed. I think that Rick has some stuff. If not I will need to find them somewhere else.
