Let me know hat you find...I am hearing a slight squeak, and assumed the same regarding the adjusting screws. I only hear it when pressing in the clutch and it changes noise the further I press, indicating to me its either a pedal adjustment, the throw out bearing, the return spring or the pressure plate fingers...and the sound in in the same revolutions as the input shaft speed.
