drbs
Could someone please tell me if a starter and generator from a 30 or 31 LaSalle V-8 will fit a 30 Cadillac V-8? Thank you so much in advance for your information. Dave

drbs
Thank you so much. How about the cylinder heads? Would they interchange? Dave t
edinmass
That depends........
edinmass
Heads may interchange, but they look different and have other issues. Why the issues? The right parts are not difficult to source.
drbs
What would be the issues to make a LaSalle cylinder block to fit a Cadillac engine?
edinmass
Blocks are a whole different subject......you asked about heads and starters. Blocks vary from year to year with some interchangeability, from Cad to LaSalle......not so much. Why don't you buy an engine that is correct if you have so many issues. drbs
I had a opportunity to buy some LaSalle parts and I was going to keep them as spares. Thank you for your info. Dave
